Unlike the other wands, which have twigs coming off the branches, these do not. They are direct, pointed, with a focus.
The 2 of Wands is not just a single Wand, but two of them, and one might even think of them as two Aces teaming up to create another. In this regard, we have the initial idea of the Ace of Wands, paring with the action element of the Wands, and thus, we have creation, duality, balance and harmony.
We look at these two aspects so that when we are in the moment of reading the card, we can remember the foundation upon which it is built, and use that to guide us in our interpretation.
Spend time considering your own tarot decks, and do your own comparison. Don’t look up any definitions, meaning of symbolism, or pull any prior knowledge of the card, suite or element. Simply look at the depictions, and note what you think and feel about them.
